This black tea from China steeps up dark. It has a rich, smooth and slightly sweet taste, with an almost cocoa-like note. Keemuns are often compared to Burgundy wines, and this one would be comparable to a really good Burgundy wine.
Use 1 rounded teaspoon per 8 ounce cup of water at 212 degrees Fahrenheit. Steep 3-5 minutes.
